On March 1st, Lidia K.C. Manzo - principal investigator for the #cityofcare project - gave an online presentation on the Gendered perspective on the Financialization of Social Housing for the 2022 American Association of Geographers (AAG) annual meeting in New York, USA.
CITY-OF-CARE is oriented toward a long-term vision for a prosperous and caring urban policy focused on investment in social infrastructure and lifelong care. This project takes a step further in the relevant field of the Financialization of Social Housing and builds on the intersection of the feminist work on care and “relationship driven” community development that make visible the work of women and give dignity to the vulnerabilities of disadvantaged social groups.
